We made these cards at a workshop I did last Friday - I am really liking this horse set (Wanted by SU.) I call this little fold up card a Cami-card as it was designed by one of my stamping buddies, Cambria. Check out her blog - you are sure to get a little inspiration.
I was so into the horse set last week that we also did a card at my stamp club with it:
The medallions are done using the poppin' pastels technique. I also used a color combination that is a little different for me, but I really liked it and it felt wild west-ish to me: rose red and groovy guava. Maybe it's because the colors look like a sunset... and the horses are running off into the sunset...? Am I reaching?
I am still working on a post for my papermaking class - I spent the weekend with a nasty cold and so spent a lot of time in bed. It was good because Chad was home to watch the girls, bad because that's not how I like to spend the weekend. Oh well.
Brianna and I did update the Ink & Nickel etsy shop today, stop over and take a peek! Here are a few glimpses at some of our favorite things...
We are so excited about plans we have for some new things coming up! We are also making plans to go to Junk Market, which is coming up soon. I know we will get some great inspiration there.
