baby gift card holder
This is a project from my March stamp club meeting. This gift card holder was inspired by a swap a received from Erin Blair (Erin, if you read this and have a blog - email me and I will link to you!) My stamp club members loved the concept and so we made this one! Cut your paper 4 1/4" X 11", score 3" in from each end and also in the middle 5 1/2". Fold this so that you end up with a 'W' shape and then you will see where you need to put your adhesive and punch or cut your opening for the gift card pocket. I used the Nursery Necessities set (SU!) and coordinating wheel and large star punch.
I also wanted to send congratulations to my BFF Mish, who is celebrating her blogaversary today! Mish is one of my dearest stamping buddies and is one of those people that you wish you were a fly on the wall in her studio to absorb all of her creativity. Someday, I would love to travel to visit her and her dear little reds! Congratulations, Mishy! Love you!

Simple but attract my eyes thoroughly. Thanks for sharing!

Heather...How funny! I just happen to be scrolling through your blog & saw this baby gift card holder & thought, "Oh, how cute! It's like the one I made for a swap!" And then low & behold there was my name!! Just so you know I wasn't the orignator of the design...just copied it, but changed the stamps & such. Glad you liked it! The original one I actually used the Nursery Necessities stamp set, too! :) Anyway...Love your stuff. I just started a blog this month, so hop on over when you get the chance. Erin Blair

Gift cards are my fave gift to give - the recipient always gets what they want! This is great! I like that there is more than just the half-circle notch cut out for the card. So many cards have colorful designs on them, they will be so cute peeking out!
Also, I saw your painted photos (mar 10) and thought "why didn't I think of that?!" :o) TFS!
