I can hardly believe that the first month of 2012 has flown by, but here we are at February. February is a big month for Papertrey Ink. In a few days the celebration countdown will officially begin!
Today is the Papertrey Ink senior design team challenge. This month we revisit the Fillable Frames collection - definitely one that has a special place in my heart :) Fillable Frames became a basic in so many of your stamp collections as well as mine and I love how the frame images are a perfect place for a sentiment, to frame and image, as a tag, etc.
For my projects that I have to share today, I used the Fillable Frames #10 frame image in a simple, no fuss way to create a 6x12 scrapbook page and card.
This is pretty much a one layer card besides the heart embellishments. I stamped the frame in the lower right corner and then masked it off to stamp the floral background on the rest of the card front. I could have used the coordinating die, but chose to trim out a mask so that the stamped background went right up to the edge of the frame.
Inspired by the wedding mini book I created for this last month's release, I created this 6x12 scrapbook page to add in the front of my wedding scrapbook that I will complete someday. I fell in love with the colors and elements I used in the mini book and plan to use the same for the larger book. I will print my favorite pictures in the same vintage black & white format and then keep the colored prints that I have in a back section of the scrapbook... that's the plan in my head right now, anyway!
Stop by the rest of the senior design team member's blogs to see the projects that they have to share today using the Fillable Frames sets: Betsy, Dawn, Maile, and Lisa

A few past projects with Fillable Frames #10 (I have lots and lots of Fillable Frames projects in general, but to keep it short and sweet I just stuck with the frame that I used for todays projects)...
The month that FIllable Frames #10 was released, so was Warm Happiness Too. I love the frame image stamped subtly in the background along with the steam out of the cup.
For this card, I cut the frame in half and then had it peek out from either side of the main image on the card.
A perfect spot for a main image to land, like the butterfly on this card/tag duo.
I used the frame on these back to school scrapbook pages for my girls...
a perfect spot to add a few facts and/or thoughts.
Papertrey Ink's 5th anniversary festivities begin soon! I will be back then with lots to share!
