Happy June everyone! The girls have just a few days of school left next week and then it will be summer vacation at our house - with a little bit of school still for Tacy throughout the summer. We have lots of camping trips planned as well as just some lazy summer day time at home too.
The beginning of June marks time for the Papertrey Ink senior design team challenge. Today, we are revisiting the Boy Basics series. I choose to create project with the set I designed for the series: Truckin' It.
My nephew Gunnar's second birthday is coming up soon and I created a personalized tag to attach to his gift. I love these personalized tags - if you read my blog regularly, you know I make them for various holidays as well. They are a perfect little keepsake that can be easily slipped into a scrapbook.
If you had a feeling that you may have seen a project like this before, you are right! I created the card back in February with the Movers & Shakers spinner die. I took many of the elements from the original card and translated them into the tag design: The textured circle background, the fire truck, the star patterned paper, and more. I stamped the "2" onto the firetruck for the tag since it doesn't spin like the one on the card and added some Pure Poppy letter die cuts to spell out Gunnar's name.
The card and tag are all set to celebrate!
Make sure to stop by all of the senior design team members blog to see what they have created with the Boy Basics sets. Betsy, Dawn, Maile, and Melissa.

Here are a few other projects that I have created with the Boy Basics: Truckin' It set...
This was Gunnar's card and tag from last year using the pickup truck image and the flames from the Boy Basics: Out of This World set.
I die cut some hills for the trucks to drive on for this card.
More flames from the Out of This World set for this fun firetruck card.
And finally a scrapbook page of my little buddy Gunnar from when I babysat him one time :)
See you soon for sneak peeks for the June release!
