Today is the day of the Papertrey Ink February release and the last day of the 6th anniversary celebration! I have the rest of my projects to share with you today that I created for this month!
All of the new stamp sets and products that I am sharing today will be available to purchase February 15th (TONIGHT!), 10PM ET, at Papertrey Ink.
First up is a card created with the Cutting Garden set. I am all about the watercolor look this month and I used that on this card. I inked up the flower stamps with Berry Sorbet ink and then spritzed them with some water before I stamped them on the white cardstock. The leaves are stamped the same way with Ripe Avocado ink.
I stamped some of the flowers and leaves without reinking - just gave them a quick spritz of water before a second impression. The lighter tones that are the result create depth in the floral image on the card. So pretty!
And here is more watercolor with the Watercolor Wonder set. I used the same technique here of inking the stamp and then spritzing it with water before stamping the image onto the white cardstock.
I love the rainbow striping effect and the sentiment that I used from Movers & Shakers Sentiments was just perfect.
Next up is a card using the new Irresistibly Ikat set - not something normally my style, but it was SO MUCH FUN to stamp with! The texture of the lines is really pretty and so easy to stamp into a beautiful pattern. I chose to do a chevron pattern with Raspberry Fizz and Pure Poppy ink.
It's funny how when something new is introduced to you and then you start to see it everywhere. I have been spotting Ikat design everywhere now! Love it.
My Mother, My Friend was, of course, perfect for a Mother's Day card. I did a little embossing with the new Zing embossing powder in Lavender on Plum Pudding cardstock for the flowers.
I topped off the sweet little wrought iron fence in the background with some Fanciful Finials to finish off this pretty little garden card.
And finally, another Mother's Day card using the new Boutique Borders: Mother set along with the new Mini Blooms set. Such a pretty little frame and I love the font combinations for the sentiments in the set.
