Last summer, I shared about my stamping techniques book that I put together with friends years ago and how I started updating the book by creating cards that can easily be slipped into a 4" x 6" pocket in a photo album. I had several cards to share on that post - and today I have 6 more technique cards to share with all of you. I love having this piece of inspiration at my fingertips when I need an idea for creating and I know you will find it to be a valuable resource too!
I can't tell you enough how excited I am to work on this project and share the cards with all of you!
Here's a look at the 6 cards that I am sharing with you today: batik, rock and roll, cracked glass, white crayon resist, smooshing, and generational stamping. You can click on the individual photos to make them larger to see each technique in more detail.
You could get together with some stamping friends to create the sample cards, or when you are stamping a card with one of these techniques, you can just create an extra piece at the same time to attach to your card. Maybe you have cards in your stash that you can pull sample pieces from to build your book. The square sample piece is easily cut out with the Limitless Layers 2 1/4" Square die.
Here are the PDF files of the stamping technique sample cards that I am sharing today:
Make sure that when you print that it is at 100% if you want the cards to remain at the 4" x 6" size.
There were a few comments left the last time I posted the technique cards that I should have included the a sample photo on the card in the pdf. The point of the technique cards is that you should experiment and try these techniques out yourself. When you page through your cards, you will benefit so much from having the real deal sample on them. Also, remember that I am sharing these cards for free. It takes a lot of time to add the photo piece onto the card for each sample.
If you want the technique cards from the last time, get them here.
Happy technique stamping! Isn't it fun to see a big pile of them all together?
