happy thanksgiving!
so here comes Christmas

christmas journal

Last year I joined an online Christmas journal class from Shimelle. I had stumbled upon the information on Ali Edwards blog and thought that it sounded like a neat project to work on during the busy season. I didn't complete many pages, but I did keep up on my journaling and have it bundled together to complete my book at some point (I know that one of my biggest resolutions for 2007 is going to be completing personal projects that have been put on the wayside for one reason or another.)

See my completed pages from last year here.

So here I go again - I will post my pages from this year that I complete and I really hope that it will be more than last year! Today my mission will be to decide my album format... I have a 7 Gypsies album that could work really well....

I hope you all had a wonderful holiday last week. We ate 2 Thanksgiving dinners, one of which was at our home and so my husband cooked his very first turkey. It turned out good :)

We also headed down to downtown Minneapolis for see the 8th floor Macy's (formerly Marshall Fields, formerly Dayton's) display - this year was Mary Poppins. After the display you can see Santa so we told Hana she needed to tell him what she wanted him to bring her for Christmas. As we got into the room Santa was in she yelled to him, "I want a glow in the dark rainbow bear!" and then beelined for the door...LOL She had no intention of sitting on his lap at all. Tacy wasn't interested in being in the room either and so we basically had a Santa drive by! Maybe next year...
