happy new year!

Is it really a new year?

I spent my weekend working on layouts using the new Simply Scrappin kit that is available during Stampin' Up!'s Sell-a-bration event.

The first one is my youngest Hana, she began dance class this fall and is so into it. I love watching her in class, and if she had her choice, she would be wearing this costume everyday (that or her Cinderella nightgown that she got for Being a dancer is a big dream for her and me being able to make her dream come true is the greatest thing. To me that is one of the most important thing about being a parent - opening doors to the dreams and interests of your children - give them wings so they can fly...

This next page is my sweet Tacy... One of her most favorite things about the holidays are all of the lights. If the tree lights were not on, she would lead me over and sign for me to turn the lights on. Our neighbors had a lighted tree outside her bedroom window and the day she discovered it she lead everyone over to her window show them. She shows such pure joy in these wonderful simple things that sometimes we miss with the craziness of everyday.

Lastly a small page (6x6) of Hana with one of her classic expressions - see the crinkled eyebrows? She is a constant complainer when it comes to having her picture taken. Ah well... just wait, Hana, when you are are older and wonder why we have more pictures of you with this expression than any other!
