back to school

Tacy started school today - first grade! She was so excited to see the bus pull up, and I was excited to see her bus driver and aide who we have had for many years. It is so comforting to know that she is in good hands that I know and trust on her way to school.

It's going to be good getting back into a school year routine. We met Tacy's teachers last week at the school open house, saw Tacy's spot in her room, visited her special ed room, and said hello to her speech teacher (well, we said hello... Tacy took Mrs. Meyer by the hand and tried to drag her to the speech room so they could go work. She was ready to go that night!)

So, first grade, here we come! I am hoping for a great year!
