holiday tags and Santa
November 24, 2007
Thanks so much for all the nice comments and emails on the list books. I had the memo books cut in half at Kinkos - I had 100 notepads cut for just over $11.00 total. Prices might vary by location and how many you need cut, so you will need to check out what's available in your location. I don't know that I would even try to cut these myself - even to save money - one I might hurt myself and the other thing is for the quality of the cut.
Here's another holiday project. I love doing tags at Christmas (well, and as you know, for other holidays too!) We do a drawing on my mom's side of the family for Christmas and we have gone from drawing slips of paper, to my mom making stamped tags and last year she handed the tags off to me. Here are the tags I made for this year's drawing...
I colored the images with my Copics and the patterned papers are all from Making Memories.
Here are a couple of pictures to share from our visit with Santa last week. We went to a holiday open house at a gift shop near Minneapolis. They had it arranged just great: we got our number to see Santa and while we waited we browsed around the shop. They announced what numbers they were on and so we didn't have to wait in line long at all.
The part I was most excited about was how well this Santa approached our family. He saw that Chad had Tacy in her wheelchair to the side of the line and when we got to our turn he took a bit of extra time with her and us. It meant a lot and made our experience wonderful. This is the first year that I have gotten pictures with Santa like this...
Happy Holidays everyone!
