christmas journal - take 3
papertrey projects

workshop projects

I have a couple of projects to share from a workshop I had this last week...

This project is a 2-4-6-8 treat box. It's a perfect little box to tuck a little holiday treat into. The stamping on this project is quick and easy - exactly what we all need this time of year! Nichole has a great tutorial on making these boxes here.  I used a half sheet (8 1/2" X 5 1/2") of cardstock for my project and on the top of my box I tucked in the sides and threaded a ribbon through a punched hole to close it up.

We also made this simple snowman reverse pocket card...

My post, here, from last year gives you some information on making your own reverse pocket cards. Who doesn't love a giftcard - both giving and receiving? This card just gives you a fun way to present your gift in a more personal way. (This is one of the many reasons I love my BFF Michelle - she is always coming up with awesome little ideas like this one!)

I will have more journal pages to share soon... Some of you asked about the patterned paper on the cover of the book. The paper I used on the tag is from the Making Memories Christmas line this year. The green print is one of my favorites in the line and maybe one of my favorite all time patterned paper prints ever.
