holiday catch-up

merry christmas!

I disappeared for a bit during the holiday hustle and bustle! Our family had a few other things happening on top of getting ready for the celebrating. Tacy had a big doctor appointment in the cities, school meetings for her upcoming IEP, new braces, and broken glasses that required picking out entirely new frames (luckily she had a spare set to wear through the holiday).

I managed to steal away for an overnight with some of my BFF's at Lisa Zappa's place in the cities to finish up stamping some of the things I needed to get done for the holidays. It was a nice refresher before the last week of busy-ness. I love Lisa's house - it provided perfect inspiration for holiday projects and good conversation with some of my very favorite people.

We aren't completely done with our family celebrations  - we are heading up to Duluth this weekend to spend time with my extended family.

Here are a few of my favorite shots from the holiday celebrations...

I hope all of you had a wonderful Christmas and my best wishes to you all for a Happy New Year.

Speaking of the New Year... remember my word for this year? Opportunity. I have been thinking a lot about how much this word really was a part of so many things this year. Big and small. I already know what my word for this next year is. It came to me so easily. That was a surprise - it took me a while for me to get the word 'opportunity' for this year. More on all this later...
