clearly creative challenge

March1challengepagepine

As a family, we sometimes forget to stop and take a moment to record who we are now in the hustle and bustle of everything going on. This past Christmas, we actually took the time to get a picture and looking back, even though it maybe was a bit of an interruption of the day (especially when there are presents, good food, and the Guitar Hero game going on...), I am so glad I have the picture to look back on. It definitely isn't your perfect portrait, but it really is a picture of us.

The senior Papertrey design team members put out a little challenge to each other to do a project incorporating something clear into our designs. I had seen this idea somewhere along the line (I can't remember exactly where, it has been a while) of doing a cutout on a scrapbook page and then stitching something to suspend it in the opening. I used the clear Sheer Blossoms by Maya Road and some clear buttons that I backed with the new Papertrey Everyday Blessings patterned papers.
