criss cross applesauce

A project from stamp club last week. This is a criss cross card, a concept thought up by my BFF Mish (looking at her blog reminds me that I need to share my spring inspiration...) You can see some of her lovely examples here and here. There is a tutorial up at SCS if you want to make your own. I used the Always set with the Porcelain Prints paper - both from SU.

I love the look of these cards - so quilt like and so perfect for patterned papers. The card is like a gift in itself and there are so many things that you could tuck into the pocket.
