Papertrey June release sneak peek!

The new Guide Lines set is a beautiful and unique background set that you all are going to love. It is absolutely perfect for creating elegant and eclectic backgrounds for your projects.

I chose to stamp the Guide Line background grid on the diagonal. When I first received the set I was a bit skeptical about how easy the grid was going to be for lining up when stamping a background. I like things to be easy. I also realized that my acrylic block was a little short for the stamp, but instead of running out for a new block I decided to try using what I had. It worked just fine (with a little fingertip pressure on the part of the stamp not attached to the block), although a bit bigger size block is on my shopping list (the block I used above is a 2 1/2" x 6" grid line block.) I was happy to find that the grid is easy to line up when stamping it multiple times, just make sure you keep an eye on matching the lines rather than the whole image and you will be just fine.

I stamped the grid with Versamark ink and then embossed them with clear embossing powder. Next I added some of the decorative images to create my background paper. I decided to do the whole background clear embossed on the white for an elegant look.

A wedding card is what came to mind right away for this elegant paper. I trimmed it to fit on a 4 1/4" x 4 1/4" card base made with the new Plum Pudding cardstock and used the Lavender moon satin ribbon to add the bow.

I had some glittered hearts leftover from my projects using Alli Miles' Wedding Day set that was released in March. I used the "With this ring..." sentiment to create a little tag to attach to the heart.

A silver eyelet with a jump ring attach the tag to the heart perfectly...

And here's the finished card all set to go for a wedding that our family will be attending in August!
