all things october and fall
October 20, 2008
I love the month of October. It's the end of summer and hot weather, the leaves are turning, pumpkins are ready to be carved, and it's time to dress up for Halloween!
The girls went to their first Halloween party this past weekend and so we had to finish deciding who was going to be what and gather everything needed for costumes...
Hana decided to be Pippi Longstocking and Tacy picked out a witch costume!
The weather was perfect for a little leaf playing...
I love the expression on Hana's face!
At the beginning of the month, Chad and I took a camping trip up to the north shore of Lake Superior to see the colors....
This was a trail near Lutsen that went up Oberg mountain.
The view from the top was breathtaking...
We spent lots of time by Lake Superior too. I love to spend time time up there...
Here are a couple more answers to questions...
I had a quick question about the wreath tag- it doesn't seem like the polka dots are separate- how did you get them red?I colored the berries with a red Twinklette marker (by Marvy) right onto the berries after I stamped the image in the Avocado color.
Where did you get the small envelope that you used on the front of your Christmas photo card? (referring to this post) The envelopes are the small open ended envelopes from Stampin' Up!
I hope everyone is enjoying the wonderful fall weather - here's one more view of the gorgeous colors for you!
