Papertrey Ink November release projects

It was a bit more of a quiet release week for me with some time off from having a stamp set release (don't worry though, you are in for another set from me in the new year!) Here are the projects that I created for the stamp sets from this month's release at Papertrey Ink.

My most favorite set from this release is Teacher's Apple. Stampers and scrapbookers have been waiting for a teacher and school set like this - even if they didn't know it! The apples are so much fun to create with all of the pattern possibilities and the sentiments for teachers are oh-so-perfect!

This project is a mini envelope book and card to give as a gift for my girls' teachers. I used envelopes from Stampin' Up! that are just over 3" square to create a petite version of my envelope book that I have shared a couple times previously (and I have another one that I will share soon...!) It's hard to tell in the picture, but the apples are covered with 2 layers of clear embossing powder to make them nice and shiny.

My stamping buddy, Lisa Johnson, released a fun set this month called Out of the Box. There are so many fun possibilities using this set with so many different punches and she included so many sentiments that will make this set so versatile for so many occasions! I used this sweet little flower stamp for my little hello card and added mini rhinestones to the centers of the flowers for some extra sparkle.

Melissa Bickford released the set, Men of Life, which is a companion set to the Women of Life set that she released last spring. The boat image is perfect for a masculine or boy card. I have been seeing this scrunchy sewn ribbon all over the place in scrapbook galleries and blogs that I wanted to give it a try and it worked perfect for creating a little water for my boat to sail on.

Melissa's other set that she released this month, Heartfelt Basics, is the perfect collection of sentiments for so many needs. The other cool thing is that the sentiments coordinate with both Men of Life and Women of Life. I used the tree from the Father Knows Best set paired with one of the sentiments for this "heartfelt" card.

You can find all of the supply lists in over in the Papertrey Ink gallery and be sure to check out the creations by the other talented design team members. You won't be short for inspiration after visiting there!
