Have you seen this totally cute and adorable monster set from My Cute Stamps? The set is called Eeek! A Monster! It's so fun and just perfect for making cards and tags for my nephews. Hana fell in love with the monsters too and I have some colored up just for her to play with...
I gathered up some patterned papers to do some piecing on the monster and used Copic markers and my white Inksentials pen to color in the details. The polka dot scallop trim frame is cardstock that I created doing the happy accident technique that I shared on this post - I am going to call the technique white ink batik from here on out.
All of the shimmer is from using my Gelly Roll Clear Stardust pen. To make the shimmer scattered looking, use your finger to smudge it right after you draw the shimmer on. The alphabet I used on the tags is from Hero Arts.
Keenan's birthday comes first this summer and so I have a card ready to go with this fun purple polka dotted fire breathing monster (more custom polka dot paper that I made up)...
I just love how whimsical and fun these monsters are!
I did a little bit of blog tweaking the other day: a new banner and some new and updated things in my sidebars. It was time to freshen things up!
Thanks for stopping by today!
