boo to you sneak peek 5
August 13, 2009
It's the last day of sneak peeks before the Papertrey Inkrelease on the 15th when my new stamp set Boo To You will be available for sale!
I have one more project for you today and I changed up the colors from the traditional Halloween orange and black to something a little different.
These cards have a bit more of a vintage feel to them. I used the rock and roll technique. I first inked up the pumpkin base into the Summer Sunrise ink and then rolled the edges into an orange ink to create the shaded look that you see on the pumpkins.
For this larger card, I also used the masking technique to create a bunch of pumpkins together. I only had to mask the middle pumpkin after I stamped it and then added the other pumpkins on each side.
The background on both cards is larger polka dots stamped with Fresh Snow ink onto Spring Moss cardstock and then the text background in True Black over the top.
There is more to see! Nichole and Debbie are sharing more about Tiffany's new set Fall Elegance. Dawn and Melissa will be sharing more about their new sets and Lauren will have another project to share with her new templates!
Tonight is the online release party over at the Papertrey Ink forumfrom 10PM-midnight EST. Come and say hello!
Thank you so much for all the comments about my new set Boo To You! I cannot wait to see the Halloween projects when they start showing up in the Papertrey gallery...!
