The whole Papertrey Ink design team is sharing projects today made with the 2 new tag sets being released this month on the 15th: 2009 Halloween Tags and 2009 Autumn Tags.
I have some more sneak peeks at the end of my post using my new Boo To You set that is also being released on the 15th.
For my project, I created a garland to hang in my home to celebrate the season coming up...
I used a 1 3/4" circle punch to punch out 5 different tag designs 4 times. Each design is used twice on the garland and adhered back to back to attach it to the button twine. I also used circles punched from the new Hocus Pocus patterned paper (being released on the 15th) in between each tag and stitched True Black vintage mix buttons right onto the twine in between each circle.
The garland turned out very fun, don't you think?
I also created a garland with the autumn tags set, the First Fruits and In Bloom patterned papers, and Dark Chocolate vintage mix buttons.
Same project, but a totally different look.
The tag sets are some of my favorite stamp sets at Papertrey. I love coming up with designs for the sets, seeing the whole set after Nichole has put the finishing touches on it, and I love the stamps themselves. You can really do some quick and easy projects with all of the images and your circle punch.
Some of the images in the tag sets are going to work very well with stamps from the Boo To You set...
Does the ghost image look familiar? I used a mini version of the ghost on this tag I designed for the Halloween tag set. How fun to use these 2 images together on a project!
I took the same layout and concept for this card...
And created it again with the autumn tag set and a change of color scheme. I stamped the pumpkin image from the Boo To You set without the jack-o-lantern face to coordinate with the pumpkin tag image that I stamped on the background strip.
Make sure you stop by all of the design team members blogs to see all of the projects made with the Halloween and autumn tag sets: Nichole, Becky, Betsy, Dawn, Debbie, Geny, Lauren, Lisa, Melissa, Michelle, and Niki.
After all of that, there is still more sneak peeks:
Make sure that you stop by Tiffany Pastor's blog to see her debut set with Papertrey.
