stir, sip & enjoy challenge

Hello October. The temperatures outside this past week have definitely been more fall like this week for us here in Minnesota (and I know for a lot of the rest of the country too!) and I love it. I love that it's time to pull out extra blankets and sweaters and I love all of the leaves changing on the trees. It's also a perfect time of year for warm beverages and that is exactly what the challenge this month focused on for the senior design team at Papertrey Ink. What better gift when the weather gets chilly than something to warm up with for the cold days ahead. And what a perfect little gift to have on hand for the holidays ahead.

I took a project that I have made in the past as a mini book and used it to package up some tea bags. I have been so thrilled about the new envelopes that Papertrey Ink carries - especially the kraft ones - in all the different sizes. I used the gift enclosure envelopes for this project - perfect size for the tea bags.

I attached a folded circle tab to each tea bag to make it easier to pull out of the envelope pockets and because it looks too cute too :)

All tied up, this little tea bag bundle will be just right to tuck into a mug. I need to count up how many little gifts I need to give this year!

See what the rest of the senior designers came up with for their warm beverage gifts: Nichole, Lisa, Lauren, Becky, Michelle, and our guest designer Teri Anderson!
