egg hunt & background basics: tin types

It's day 4 of the official Papertrey Ink release countdown. Today I have a project to share that highlights my new Background Basics: Tin Types set along with my Egg Hunt Set. Both sets and the egg die cut that I am using today will be available for sale on the 15th at Papertrey Ink.

I created several egg patterns using the Tin Types set and a few other details with some other stamps and a white pen. The dotted grid stamp and 4 petal flower background stamps in the sets are designed so that you can layer them if you want or you can add other small images, like the egg that I added the flower images onto.

I dressed up the eggs with buttons, scallops, and a stamped polka dot strip to finish them off for my finished card.

There are more things to see for the Papertrey Ink countdown. Nichole will be sharing about Dawn's new Studio Style set and Mish will have a project on her blog as well. Nichole will also be sharing the new series Year of Flowers along with Debbie. And make sure you stop by Dawn, Alli, Niki, and Melissa's blog to see the projects that they have to share today with their new sets and stop by Kim's blog to see more peeks of her templates.

One more day of sneak peek projects tomorrow before the big release on the 15th! Thanks for stopping by today!
