fillable frames #4 meets color couture

Welcome to day 5 of the Papertrey Ink May release! It's the last day to gear up before all of the great stamp sets and products will be available for purchase on the 15th - and with a new Papertrey Ink website to boot! I love the new look so far and am anxious to spend some time getting to know and navigate the site. So far, I am loving the new search options that are available. One of the things that I am going to need to do here on my blog is make sure that my Papertrey links are working right, so please be patient as I work on that and get everything updated.

Now onto my projects for today! All of the new stamp sets and product that I am sharing today will be available to purchase on May 15th (tomorrow!) at Papertrey Ink.

I paired Fillable Frames #4 with one of Dawn's Color Couture color collections. The elements that I used on my cards are from the Color Couture Embellies #4. I also used some more of the Dotty Biscotti patterned paper also designed by Dawn.

I really like the look of the frame image and die cut done with the Dotty Biscotti paper. I embossed the frame with white embossing powder and stamped the sentiment with True Black ink. The happy together sentiment is perfect for an anniversary card.

To put together my cards, I precut a number of embellishments from the Color Couture collection. Then I took my die cut/stamped pieces I put together with Fillable Frames #4 and started to lay out elements together. When I got an arrangement I liked, I adhered everything down.

On this card I embossed the frame image from Fillable Frames #4 with clear embossing powder on the Hawaiian Shores cardstock.

For this last day of the countdown, Nichole & Dawn will be showcasing Dawn's new Aloha set, Melissa's new Background Basics: Geometrics set, and Alli's new Take Three: Summer Set. Lisa and Beth will also have peeks of their new sets on their blogs.
