spiral bouquet revisited
another set peek!

august release sneak peek and CHA projects

Hey everyone! It's time for a sneak peek of one of the sets that I have coming out for the August release at Papertrey Ink. I am excited about the countdown, that starts on the 10th, so that I can share more of this simple rustic autumn set (that is definitely versatile for more than just the autumn season!)

I also wanted to share the projects that I did for the Papertrey Ink booth at the CHA Super Show...

This card is made with the exclusive CHA set Four of a Kind that was free with every $100 spent at the show. I used the emboss resist technique on this project. All of the text was stamped first, the floral image was embossed in clear over the top, and then I applied the color with a sponge. I love the soft botanical look.

This next project was such a fun one! Nichole had everyone on the design team create a kite to go with our Up, Up & Away theme for the booth. To create the circle pattern, I punched circles of different sizes in each section of the kite and then backed each section with a different patterned paper. I went to my sewing machine and stitched around the circles numerous times and that had such a whimsical look - perfect for a kite!

It was so much fun to see all of the design team member's kites and guess who did each one. They made such a beautiful display!

I just have to say again, thank you so much to everyone who came out to CHA to see us! It was wonderful to meet all of you and it gives me happiness to know that something that I love to do and share touches and inspires so many of you. It was also wonderful to hear how so many of you are touched by my daughter, Tacy. So many of you shared your stories with me and that really meant so much.

Thanks again and see you soon!
