This week has been all about back to school. Sometimes getting back into the routine can be difficult, but I think we were all ready.
Tacy is so happy to be back and on open house night last week when we walked into her special ed classroom, you could see her happiness and excitement to be back in her place with her things at school. The last couple of weeks have been tough because of a larger than normal break between her extended school year (summer school) and the beginning of school. She craves and needs her routine of school and no matter how much you try to keep things structured for her at home, it just isn't the same. We are definitely ready for 4th grade!
Hana has the same teacher for 2nd grade that she had last year (and Tacy had her the year before that!) and many of the same classmates. She was very excited to see friends that she hasn't seen all summer. This year she was all about the school clothes shopping - especially shoes. She was trying to talk me into bringing 3 pairs of shoes to school yesterday, explaining when and why she needed each kind of shoe she wanted to bring. I think I might need to get a shoe rack for her locker...
And for me, it has been nice and quiet at home - something that I have been looking forward to. The September release at Papertrey is just about here and so I have been busy getting projects ready to share with you - starting tomorrow! Here are sneak peeks of my 2 sets being released this month:
First up this is probably my most favorite set that I am releasing this year. There has been lots of glitter all over my stamp area - and all over the house. I can't wait to share!
And second is number 8 in the Fillable Frame series. I think this shape is so perfect for the holiday season and I of course included a few sentiments of that nature in the set. I can't wait to share more and the project ideas I have to go with it!
I will be back tomorrow to share a project for day 1 of the countdown. Get out your holiday supplies - it's time to get creating now so you won't be scrambling the week before the holiday!
