garden variety, more road trip & wildflower garden

Welcome to day 5 of the Papertrey Ink countdown. This is the last day before all of the new stamp sets and products will be available for sale. Today is another design team group post using the new Garden Variety stamp set that Nichole designed along with Melissa Phillips. I also have a couple more projects to share further down in the post with some of my new sets.

All of the new stamp sets and products that I am sharing today will be available to purchase on May 15th (tomorrow!) at Papertrey Ink.

I created a scrapbook page with the Garden Variety set with a picture that I took of Hana at a local garden. The coordinating Seed Packet die was the perfect place to tuck a little message into for Hana when she is looking at her scrapbook later on...

It slides right up when you pull the ribbon tab. The garden gloves are my favorite image in the set - the pattern on them is so much fun!

Here's another card that I made with my new Wildflower Garden set. I used twinkling H2O's with this technique for the flowers on kraft cardstock.

The sentiment on the card is from this month's Think Big Favorites set. The purple velvet ribbon was some that I had in my stash and I stitched it down with my sewing machine.

And finally, one more scrapbook page from my 2010 summer road trip. I took the United States frame image and stamped it with white acrylic paint onto the clear cardstock and then used it to frame the picture of all of us on the boat that we were on when we went whale watching of the coast of New Hampshire.

Getting these pages done really gets me inspired to complete the album from this trip! I am 4 scrapbook pages closer to getting it done :)

Don't forget to stop by Nichole's blog to link up to the whole design team's Garden Variety projects. DawnMelissa, and Tiffany will have projects to share again today too!

Tonight is the release party over in the Papertrey forums 10PM - midnight ET. Come over and join the fun as we countdown before the new releases go live! Hope to see you there!

Thank you so much for stopping by during this countdown week! See you again here soon!
