introducing fillable frames additions 2 & tag-its #7
August 09, 2011
Welcome to day 1 of the Papertrey Ink August release countdown! I have several new things debuting this month and I am going to spread out the sneak peek projects so I don't give everything away at once...
If you didn't see the sneak peeks over at Nichole's blog...
This first set I will be sharing more about tomorrow - I can't tell you how much this is going to be for Halloween treat, card & tag making!
The much anticipated second half of the Fillable Frames Additions...
And the next up in the Tag-its series!
All of the new stamp sets and products that I am sharing today will be available to purchase on August 15th at Papertrey Ink.
Today I am sharing a card that uses both the new Tag-its #7 set and the new Fillable Frames Additions 2 set.
This month's Tag-it set has a definite harvest & fall feel to it with a bit of light distressing. The circle frame has a "tab" style to it where a portion of the circle is filled with a bit of a pattern. You can set the tab portion to the bottom, top, side - whatever suits your card design! A few sentiments perfect for fall occasions along with some sweet and whimsical fall images round out this set. All of the images and sentiments can be mixed and matched with all of the circle frames in the Tag-its series. This set retails for $5.
The Fillable Frames Additions 2 set gives you one additional frame design for the original Fillable frames #7-12. The frames coordinate with its corresponding # die and all of the sentiments in the Fillable Frames series. Fillable Frames are unique as they feature an open center where you can place your sentiment, making lining up and mass producing a breeze. The Fillable Frames Additions 2 set also has its own set of sentiments that work with all of the frames in the series. Fillable Frames Additions 2 retails for $24.
This card project is one perfect for sending an autumn hello. I stamped the pumpkin and leaf images into the frame image that coordinates with Fillable Frames #8 with True Black ink and then colored them in with Copic markers. The circle frame from Tag-its #7 it flipped tab side up and stamped with Orange Zest ink onto kraft cardstock. The "autumn wishes" sentiment is stamped in the bottom open portion of the circle frame.
There's a peek of patterned paper from this month's Leaf Prints collection that I designed this month - I will share more about that later this week!
There's going to be so much to see and share during the next days of the countdown. There is more to see today: Nichole and Betsy are sharing the new Table Service set. Melissa, Maile, and Dawn will all have things to share on their blogs too!
Tomorrow is going to bring lots of Halloween fun! Thanks so much for stopping by!
