love lives here: holiday & more tag-its #8

It's day 3 of the Papertrey Ink September release countdown! Today is a group post day and we are all sharing projects made with the new Love Lives Here: Holiday set - a lovely companion set to the original Love Lives Here set that was conceptulized by Melissa Phillips and illustrated by Nichole. I am so excited about this holiday version set. It's rustic and homespun - 2 things that are right up my alley for sure!

I also have another project to share further down in the post that uses my new Tag-its #8 set...

All of the new stamp sets and products that I sharing today will be available to purchase on September 15 at Papertrey Ink!

I pulled out my felt to die cut some sweet little mittens and I added in some little felt holly embellishments that I made with my new Holly Jolly die set, some embroidery, and a few rhinestones.

Again, I kept the layout simple. I want to let the cute, cute mittens shine on the card and the other great thing about a simple layout, especially this time of year, is so that mass production is possible.

The layout on the tag is pretty much the same as the card. I used the smaller sized holly and a different sentiment. The stars on the mittens are die cut stars stamped with the star image from the set. I am so happy about the full bleed look that the die cuts make possible.

Make sure that you go to Nichole's blog to link up to the whole design team's projects that everyone made with the Love Lives Here: Holiday set.

For my next project that I have to share today, I used the tree image from the Love Lives Here: Holiday set and paired it with several elements of the Tag-its #8 set.

The bottom strip on the card is a bit of a take on the Make It Monday from this past week, just not the whole background of the card. I used the snowflake images stamped in white ink to create my fun blizzard like strip of patterned paper on the bottom of the card.

My tag layout mirrors the card just like the first project tag that I shared today. The tag base is the Tag Sale #4 die paired with the 2 1/2" circle from the 2 1/2" Limitless Layers die collection.

Like I mentioned earlier, you can link up with all of the design team member projects over at Nichole's blog. Make sure to stop by DawnLisaTiffanyMaile, and Melissa's blogs to their projects that they created today with their new sets too!

See you back here tomorrow for more projects for this month's countdown. Thank you so much for stopping by today!
