introducing winterberry & tag-its #9
October 09, 2011
Welcome to day 1 of the Papertrey Ink October release countdown! This is going to be another month of inspiration for the upcoming holiday season. I have 2 stamp sets debuting this month and the next few days I will be sharing sneak peek projects with them as well as other peeks of new product that will be new for this month.
Up first is my new set Winterberry (I just love the name of this one) and it is full of berries and branches just right for the season. Get out your rhinestones, pearls, and beads because adding bling to the images is going to be so much fun. This set retails for $15.
And, of course, the other set is the next up in the Tag-its series. Tag-its #9 includes a circle frame that has a scrolling swirl design plus images and sentiments to coordinate. All of the images and sentiments are perfect for mixing and matching with all of the sets in the Tag-its series. This set retails for $5.
Now on to the cards I have to share today...
All of the new stamp sets and products that I am sharing will be available to purchase on October 15th at Papertrey Ink.
I have two cards to share today that use the Winterberry set and one has a peek of the Tag-its #9 frame.
I love the tree image in the set - so my style! I colored the tree with Copic marker trio that coordinates with Ripe Avocado. I added shimmer with the Stardust pen and the snow drift is a new die cut that you will hear more about this week that I topped with glitter.
The birds from Little Bitty Bird coordinate with the Winterberry set perfectly and you are going to love perching them on the branch image that I included in the set. I put the sentiment into the circle frame from Tag-its #9 that I cut in half and attached to the bottom edge of the kraft paper piece.
Stamping white snowflakes on kraft paper is deinitely one of my very favorite things - I am sure you will be seeing some more of that in the coming days...
There is more to see on this first day of the countdown: Nichole and Betsy are sharing the new Shape Up Snowman Accessories set and Tremendous Treats Christmas! Dawn, Tiffany, and Melissa all have new sets this month and will be sharing projects on their blogs too.
Thank you for stopping by today - see you tomorrow for more!
