more winterberry

Welcome to day 3 of the Papertrey Ink October release countdown! Today I have a couple more cards to share using my new Winterberry set. I think that this is one of those sets that I could sit and play with all day long. When I get out supplies that I love, I just keep creating. There's nothing like sweet holiday images and my favorite holiday supplies to get me inspired...

All of the new stamp sets and products that I am sharing today will be available to purchase on October 15th at Papertrey Ink.

Rustic and woodsy are 2 things that are so my style. I got out my Tea Dye Duo inks and worked lots of distressing onto the stamped parts of both of these cards.

First I stamped the branch image and "hung" one of the ornaments from it. For my background, I stamped the snowflake image in Chai ink and then distressed the whole piece with the Chamomile and Chai inks. I used some brown glitter gems that I had picked up at Archivers some time ago for the berries on the branch. Everything is colored with Copic markers.

For this card I gathered the birds from Little Bitty Bird around the Christmas tree. The tree and birds are colored with Copics and the background is done the same as the branch card. I decorated the tree with more brown glitter gems and topped the tree off with a gold star attached to the card with a silver star brad.
