introducing scrambled eggs and framed out #1

It's already day 6 of the Papertrey Ink 5th Anniversary countdown and it's time now for the sneak peek projects to begin!

I have 2 new stamp sets debuting this month and I will be sharing lots of both sets in the next few days as well as lots of new products that is brand new to Papertrey Ink this month!

All of the new stamp sets and products that I am sharing will be available to purchase on February 15th at 10PM EST at Papertrey Ink.

Today is also a sketch challenge contest day. Over at Nichole's blog, there is a download sheet of different sketches for you to use as a basis for a project as well as all of the details for the contest.

For the project that I have to share with you today, I used sketch #4:

PTI-Sketch-4

My new sets this month are:

Scrambled Eggs - this set is one that I designed to coordinate with my previous Egg Hunt set, specifically the egg die. There are several images that work with the die including a bunny, chick, basket and more egg designs. Sweet spring and Easter sentiments round out this springy set. Scrambled Eggs retails for $15.

Framed Out #1 - this is the first in a series of frames and coordinating die cuts where the die cut cuts out the opening in the frame. There is a larger frame that coordinates and then another frame that coordinates with the frame cut out. I had a lot of fun putting the sentiments together for these little sets too - I think you will like the results! Framed Out #1 retails for $5.

Here is my little card set I created using the sketch #4. I used the bunny and chick images from Scrambled Eggs that I colored with Copic markers. There is a coordinating bunny ear die to cut the ears out. The sentiments are framed by the new Framed Out #1 set frames. I stamped the smaller frame right onto the kraft card base in Fresh Snow ink, added the sentiment, and then attached the larger die cut frame around it that I stamped in Aqua Mist ink.

The egg on the chick is paper pieced from the new Aqua Mist patterned paper pack and I used more of the patterned paper for the side banner pieces and the top and bottom strips on the card. I love all of the patterns and how much they are and will be to mix and match on projects. The pink glitter on the egg is actually a glass glitter I got a while back. It's pretty chunky and sits up from the paper a bit, but I like it.

There is more to see today: Nichole and Betsy will share the new Frilly Flowers and Think Big Favorites #13 sets and Nichole and Jess will share more of the new Global Greetings and Background Basics: Medallions sets. Lisa, Maile, Melissa, Tiffany, and Lizzie all have new sets to share on their blogs today too.

See you back tomorrow for more! Thank you so much for stopping by during this 5th anniversary celebration!
