more scrambled eggs and framed out #1
anniversary set: pretty peonies

movers & shakers and more scrambled eggs

Welcome to day 10 - the last day - of the Papertrey Ink 5th Anniversary countdown. It's a group post, the one you have all been waiting for, introducing the whole Movers & Shakers collection.

Interactive cards are so fun, but until now have been a time consuming project. Not anymore with the Movers & Shakers die collection. My project to share today is a spinner card using the Movers & Shakers: Spinners die collection.

All of the new stamps sets and products that I am sharing today will be available to purchase on February 15th (tomorrow!), 10PM EST, at Papertrey Ink.

Right away I thought of creating a birthday card for my nephew using my Boy Basics: Truckin' It set. There is a straight track and a wavy track in the Spinners collection and I used the wavy track for this card. How much fun is he going to have spinning this little firetruck across his card?

To attach whatever image you choose to spin on the track, there is a die cut circle sandwich - the die to cut this is in the Spinner die collection - that is attached to the back of your die cut image and slips right into the track opening. Nichole will have more information on her blog about putting together all of the new Movers & Shakers interactive cards.

Here are a few photos so you can get the idea of the firetruck going across the card...

I didn't think that was quite enough for you to get the idea, so I have a little video clip to share:

I hope that helps you get the picture of what the spinner card is supposed to do!

I had to put together a spinner card and have my little chick image from Scrambled Eggs tumble across the card! I used the straight track for this one. It spins just like the fire truck one, just down a straight path instead of a wavy one.

There he goes!

All of the fun new dies and stamps in the Movers & Shakers collection will for sure take your card designs to a whole new level - a definite fun level!
