more background basics: postmarks & framed out #3

Welcome to day 2 of the Papertrey Ink April release countdown. I have another card to share with you today that uses my new sets: Background Basics: Postmarks and Framed Out #3.

All of the new stamp sets and products that I am sharing today will be available to purchase on April 15th, 10PM EST, at Papertrey Ink.

This card showcases both background patterns included in the set. There is an all over postage/script/postmark pattern which is stamped on the Ocean Tides paper (in new formula Ocean Tides ink!) and there is a vintage look polka dot version which is stamped in the kraft cardstock in Fresh Snow ink.

A smaller image included in the set is a block of just script and that is stamped in Fine Linen ink on the white banner die cut - click the photo to see it larger and get a bit closer look.

The hello stamped in the Framed Out #3 frame is from the Think Big Favorites #15 set. The original sentiment is "hello sunshine", but I just inked the "hello" in Smokey Shadow ink to use in the frame opening. I stamped the little "hi!" image from Framed Out #3 and punched it out with a 1/2" circle punch.

Today, Dawn and Nichole will share more about the new Tagged Sentiments & Heart-2-Heart #3 sets. Nichole and Erin will showcase the new Baby Face set. MelissaMaileDawn, and Lexi will all have peeks with their new stamp sets on their blogs too.

Thanks so much for stopping by today. Come back tomorrow and I recommend a bowl of strawberries to snack on while you peruse projects from the whole design team ;)
