more framed out #5

Welcome to day 3 of the Papertrey Ink June release countdown! Today I have a few cards to share that use my new Framed Out #5 set.
All of the new stamp sets and products that I am sharing today will be available to purchase on June 15th, 10PM ET, at Papertrey Ink.
Both of the cards that I am sharing today started as one idea and then turned into something different. I love the results!
My first idea for this card, was to create a stamped tag background with the larger frame image. Once I stamped the first row, I immediately changed my mind and used them as a border down the side of the card front instead of all over.
I stamped the sentiment in the Ocean Tides tag with full strength Smokey Shadow and then stamped off once when I stamped the sentiments in the other tag. This really makes that main sentiment "pop" on the card.
When this card first started, the tag image was stamped in the center of the some Rustic White cardstock, I masked it, and then stamped a text background with the sentiment stamped off once (stay with me here!) I ended up cutting the tag from the stamped piece and then used the Double Ended Banners die to cut a portion of that stamped sentiment background to use as an accent on this card.
I like the effect of the tag being completely flat and used without the die cut.
