stamp-a-faire 2012: mini book challenge
July 21, 2012
Hey everyone! How is camp going so far? One of the best parts of camp, for me, is afterwards when I look through all of the photos that we took and remember all of the great experiences we had. Sometimes I just need to get those pictures into an album, but sometimes it's fun to create a little mini book of some of the pictures from your adventures too!
This little mini book is from a camping trip that our family took this past June up to Finland, MN. I used the Tabbed Mini Book Page die for my page bases and then have a favorite binding technique to share with you...
In the video, I go through the basic construction of the pages and then share the binding technique.
Here are some of the still photos in the video of the project:
selecting photos for the min book...
laying out the order of pages...
pattern paper selections for the book...
adding the patterned paper to the pages...
creating simple embellishments for the mini book pages...
adding journaling and embellishments...
a closer look at completed pages...
adhering pages together...
pages ready to be bound...
the bound mini book...
& inside the book...
Your challenge for Papertrey Ink's Stamp-a-Faire 2012 is to create your own mini book using one of the tutorials that the design team has shared or share one that you have made in the past. Nichole's blog is the place to post your projects and all of the details on posting and the contests are there.
Happy camping & crafting today!
