mr. bones halloween spook out - day 3
September 03, 2012
It's day 3 of Mr. Bones' Halloween Spook Out! It's been so much fun to share all of the Halloween projects with you so far and I hope that you have been enjoying the projects as well.
You can play along with me and Mr. Bones by sharing your Halloween themed projects: at Nichole's blog, there is an InLinkz list to post your Halloween themed projects. You will be able to post until September 5th 11:30PM EST. There are ten $10 gift certificates that you will have an opportunity to win by playing along!
Today I am sharing the personalized Halloween tags I created for this year and another Halloween card featuring Webster :)
I am SO excited about how the tags for this year turned out! I used the Boxy Banner dies as the base for my tag die cut from True Black and Smokey Shadow cardstock. I used the same flocked polka dot paper that I did on the eek! banner I shared the first day for the tops of the tags. I strung Canyon Clay twill ribbon through the top so that I can tie it to a treat bag or package later.
To create the glittered letters for the tags, I die cut letters with the Modern Alphabet dies from a piece of Orange Zest cardstock that I had run through my Xyron machine on both sides.
The front side of the letter has adhesive to add the glitter to and the adhesive on the back of the letter will adhere the letter to the tag.
The glittered letters add the perfect touch to my tag for this year. Mr. Bones will be delivering Halloween gifts in style...
Here's the Halloween card featuring Webster! I die cut a spider web from Smokey Shadow bitty dot paper and covered it with clear glitter for Webster to dangle from. The focal image piece of the this card that Webster is on also measures 3" x 4" (Project Life!)
Such a sweet & spooky card to send Halloween greetings!
Webster's past project pick today are the personalized tags that I created for Halloween 2010. This set of tags has to be my favorite Halloween project that I have made. I created them using the Tiny Treats: Halloween set and I really love the vintage flair between the kraft paper and silvery glitter.
The Spook Out continues tomorrow! Thank you so much for stopping by & see you tomorrow!
