mr. bones halloween spook out - day 5

It is the last day of Mr. Bones' Halloween Spook Out! I hope that you have had a great time the past several days and are inspired to get stamping and creating your Halloween projects.

You can play along with me and Mr. Bones by sharing your Halloween themed projects: at Nichole's blog, there is an InLinkz list to post your Halloween themed projects. You will be able to post until September 5th 11:30PM EST. There are ten $10 gift certificates that you will have an opportunity to win by playing along!

I have been loving looking through all of the great projects that are being shared :)

Today I have a few more Halloween cards to share and fun Halloween tags that involve a freebie for you!

Let's start with this sweet little trio of pumpkins. Punk and a few of his cousins came to hang out and spook for Halloween. I stamped the middle pumpkin and then masked it off to stamp the 2 other pumpkins on both sides. The pumpkins are colored with Copic markers with a combination of oranges YR02 - YR09. You can definitely keep it simple and use just a few colors as well!

The pumpkin charm on the side of the card is one I picked up at my local craft store quite a while ago. I am always on the lookout for cool little embellishments to use on projects. Sometimes I use them right away, and sometimes I hold on to them for a while until the perfect project to use it on happens.

Next, Mr. Bones was busy carving a pumpkin and then fell in! I used the new Shape Up pumpkin die that I textured with the Herringbone impression plate. The detail pieces of the pumpkin are textures with the Linen & Canvas impression plate. The rhinestones are colored with a dark grey Copic Marker for a bt darker, but not too black look.

The little flag that Mr. Bones is holding is a strip of kraft cardstock that I notched the one end with a square punch. I cut the pointy ends of a toothpick off so Mr. Bones would have something to hold on to!

And my final project for the Mr. Bones Spook Out is this fun little tag to attach to treats - or whatever else you can think up! You can download your free Mr. Bones Treat Tag project freebie below - click on the file link below the picture...

The circle tags are sized to be used with a 1 3/4" circle punch or die and has a full bleed so the pattern will go right to the edge when you punch it out.

I used the 2 1/2" circle Limitless Layers die with the pinked edge die cut from Smokey Shadow cardstock and then stamped with True Black polka dots for the tag base.

I can't wait to see what all of you create with the Mr. Bones Treat Tags!

For Webster's past project pick, this card was one I created for the release of my Boo to You stamp set. One of my favorite parts of this card is the stamp layering of the stars and text images - I love when stamping looks like patterned paper that I bought!

Thank you so much everyone for joining me for Mr. Bones Halloween Spook Out! Enjoy your treat tags and don't forget to share your Halloween projects over on Nichole's blog for a chance to win one of the ten $10 gift certificates that are being given away. You can post your project until 11:30PM EST tonight!

Sneak peeks for the September release are starting today over at Nichole's blog as well - I will be back soon to share my sets for this month. See you again soon!
