winter snow globe shaker card
September 12, 2012
It's day 3 of the Papertrey Ink September release countdown! Today I have a sweet little shaker card to share using my new Winter Snow Globe set.
All of the new stamp sets and products that I am sharing today will be available to purchase on September 15th, 10PM ET, at Papertrey Ink.
If you haven't ever made a shaker card before, I have a Make It Monday video here that will get you started. Since the world of die cuts became huge in paper crafting, it's easier than ever before.
I used the 1 3/4" circle Limitless Layers die to create the opening for my shaker snow globe on this card. The little Santa inside the snow globe is paper pieced & colored with Copic markers. I filled the shaker card with some chunky green and iridescent glitter that I had in my glitter basket.
How fun to send a loved one an actual, shakable, snow globe to celebrate the holidays!
Today, Nichole will be sharing more new September release stamp sets and products on her blog. Melissa is sharing more about the new Mistletoe & Holly and Happiest of Holidays sets. Ashley will be sharing the new Peace, Love & Joy, Year of Flowers: Poinsettia dies, and Think Big Favorites #20 sets. Tiffany, Lizzie,Dawn, and Melissa will all be sharing peeks of their new sets on their blogs too.
Tomorrow brings a group post - one of my favorite parts of the release countdown! Thanks so much for stopping by today!
