layered postmarks: holiday & think big favorites #21

introducing layered postmarks: holiday & framed out #9

Hi everyone! Welcome to day 1 of the Papertrey Ink October release countdown. Holiday crafting is in full swing and I am excited to share lot of new stamp sets and products in the next several days that will be perfect to add to your supplies!

Since I have 4 sets for this release, I am spreading things out a bit during the countdown. Today, I would like to introduce Layered Postmarks: Holiday and Framed Out #9.

Layered Postmarks: Holiday is a 2 step stamping set that includes some classic holiday shapes and coordinating postmark overlays. The shapes and overlays can be used together or apart and can take looks ranging from rustic to vintage to elegant. There are coordinating dies as well and I will share more peeks of those later in the countdown. Layered Postmarks: Holiday retails for $24.

Framed Out #9 is the ninth set in the Framed Out series. The set has frame image and there is a coordinating die cut that cuts out the frame and the center of the frame image. There is a smaller frame image that coordinates with the smaller cut out piece. This set features an circular frame with a scalloped edge and flourish pattern perfect for holiday projects. Framed Out #9 retails for $5.

All of the new stamp sets and products that I am sharing today will be available to purchase on October 15th, 10PM ET, at Papertrey Ink.

I have a pair of cards to share today that have a soft holiday color scheme: Spring Moss, Classic Kraft, Rustic White, and silver.

Both cards feature the tree image from Layered Postmarks Holiday. I stamped the solid tree in Spring Moss and then added the overlay ink Classic Kraft. Generational stamping was perfect for the two lighter trees on the card and then I stamped and embossed the sentiment in silver - I have a feeling the silver embossing powder will be out on my desk for a lot of my holiday stamping this month. I am loving the look!

This card is one that is quick and easy. It's perfect for mass production to make cards to mail out to family and friends.

For this card, I paired the tree image with the Framed Out #9 set. I embossed the larger frame in silver on Rustic White cardstock and then the smaller frame on kraft cardstock. A bit of patterned paper from Holiday Flourishes & Swirls finishes off this card perfectly.

Don't you just LOVE the little polka dot circle frame embossed in silver?

There is lots to see on this first day of the countdown: Nichole will have LOTS over at her blog, Betsy will be sharing the Over Easy Under sets, it will be all about stripes over at Danielle's blog, and Cristina will be sharing the new Menorah Medley sets and dies. Dawn, Melissa, Maile, and Erin (her first set!) will be sharing more about their new sets on their blogs too.

There will be lots more tomorrow. Thanks so much for stopping by today!
