introducing sentiment signs & more framed out #10
stitched sentiments and more

hanging by a thread, sew simple borders, and more!

Welcome to day 3 of the Papertrey Ink November release countdown. I have some more new sets to share with you today and you will see more peeks of my new sets: Sentiment Signs and Framed Out #10 incorporated into the projects I am sharing today too.

Hanging By a Thread is a stamp set that coordinates with the new Thread Cards die collection. You will be able to create your own little custom vintage thread cards. Incorporate the little cards as embellishments, focal points, tags, or even use them to store your own craft supplies. Hanging by a Thread retails for $15

Sew Simple Borders is a set of stitched borders that are perfect for adding stitching to your projects without having to drag out your sewing machine, The designs are easy to repeated for creating the length that you need for your project. Sew Simple Borders retails for $5.

All of the new stamp sets and products that I am sharing today will be available to purchase on November 15, 10PM ET, at Papertrey Ink.

I love vintage ephemera and so being able to make my own for a project is so much fun! I made up the little thread card with kraft cardstock and stamped the image onto it using Dark Chocolate ink. A little embroidery floss wrapped around the middle was the perfect touch to finish it off.

I made the buttons made with the new Button Up set and the Button Up #1 & Button Up #2 dies and the sentiment and frame are from my new Framed Out #10 set.

I added the stitching detail with the Sew Simple Borders set stamped in Classic Kraft ink on the edge of the frame image and also on the right edge of the card.

Next I paired the Sew Simple Borders with my new Sentiment Signs set. I stamped the stitching between each sentiment on the block and it took the vintage sign look to something more soft and handmade.

Stamping the stitches at an angle created a custom patterned paper that I used on the left side of the card.

And finally, here is a little trio of cards using the Thread Cards die collection, Hanging By a Thread stamp set and the sentiments from Framed Out #10.

I wrapped strips of fabric around the thread cards and then added a strip of paper "unwrapping" from the thread card to add the sentiment to.

A little more "stitching" adds some sweet homespun details to the card set.

Today, Nichole will have lots to share on her blog using Hanging By a Thread, Button Up, and Sew Simple Borders. Maile will have Button Up projects to share on her blog and ErinLexi, and Melissa will also have projects to share with their new sets on their blogs too.

See you back here tomorrow for more! Thank you for stopping by today :)
