stitched sentiments and more

Welcome to day 4 of the Papertrey Ink November release countdown. Today is group post day and we are all sharing projects with the new Stiched Sentiments set. One of my cards also uses the frame and flower image from my new Framed Out #10 set.

All of the new stamp sets and products that I am sharing today will be available to purchase on November 15th, 10PM ET, at Papertrey Ink.

I have always loved doing stitching and embroidery projects and so the images and sentiments in the set are right up my alley.

I used the sweet little embroidery hoop pattern for my first card and even embossed the tightening piece (is there a specific word for that?) with silver embossing powder. I stamped the "stitched" sentiment and heart onto the die cut circle from the center of the hoop and then ran ran it through my Cuttlebug with the new Aida impression plate. So SO perfect for a perfect homespun stitched look.

I like how the sentiment banner fits to the bottom of the hoop - so fun! I love how this card came together :)

For this next card, I took the "stitched" you and put into the center of the larger frame image from Framed Out #10. The floral design on the frame coordinates so niceley with the homespun feel of the Stitched Sentiments set.

I made a paper strip for the curved sentiment and added stitching from the Sew Simple Borders set and then cut the ends with my pinking shears. A little sprinkling of the flower from Framed Out #10 stamped repeatedly completes the card.
