embroidered blooms & more framed out #11

Welcome to day 4 of the Papertrey Ink December release countdown. Today is the first of 2 group post days and we have created projects to share using the new Embroidered Blooms set. I have a card to share that uses my new Framed Out #11 too.

All of the new stamp sets and products that I am sharing today will be available to purchase on December 15th, 10PM ET, at Papertrey Ink.

I played around with layered embossing with the embroidered elements in the set - I am thinking this might need to be a Make it Monday video soon!

I created the background of the card with white and clear embossing on this anniversary card. I stamped and embossing the "outsides" of the images first and embossed them in white, I worked next on the areas embossed with the clear, and then added the flower centers that are embossed in white.

I really love the tapestry look that resulted combining the embroidered images with the embossing.

I die cut and opening in my background piece with a larger Mat Stack 6 die and then added the sentiment on the smaller Mat Stack die cut from kraft cardstock. The "happy" part of the sentiment is embossed in white and then I stamped "anniversary" in True Black ink underneath it.

I am very much in love with how this card turned out! Instead of alternating white and clear embossing, I did everything in white on the kraft cardstock - so pretty!

I die cut a heart from my piece of embossed cardstock and used it as the focal point of the card paired with the Postmarks heart that is cut with the Framed Out #11 die. Pairing these elements with the Ribbons and Bows set stamped in Fine Linen was perfect.

The "I adore you" sentiment is from Tag-its #11 and is stamped on one of the little flags from my new Countdown Details die.

Here's one final card with Framed Out #11 along with another die cut heart embossed in white with Embroidered Blooms. This card as a little bit more fancy and frilly than some of the other cards that I have shared so far with the Framed Out #11 set. The set's versatility is endless with the styles of cards that you might want to create!

There's another group post tomorrow and I will have something more to share with Framed Out #11. See you then!
