framed out #11 & sending my love
December 11, 2012
Welcome to day 2 of the Papertrey Ink December release countdown. Today I have more projects to share using my new Framed Out #11 set and the new Sending my Love set.
All of the new stamp sets and products that I am sharing today will be available to purchase on December 15th, 10PM ET, at Papertrey Ink.
I think Betsy has gotten us all hooked on the chalkboard stamping. I used it again on this card that uses both the new Sending my Love set and Framed Out #11.
I first stamped a background with the different sentiments from Sending my Love with Pure Poppy ink on kraft cardstock. I love the vintage look and feel that resulted from the Pure Poppy on the kraft!
I did my focal sentiments on True Black cardstock that I had die cut with the new Limitless Layers Heart die and the smaller heart is the inside of the Framed Out #11 die. The main sentiments are embossed in white and then I added more stamping and inking with fresh Snow ink. The new Mat Stack 6 is a perfect landing spot on the card for my chalkboard hearts to sit!
I used the new Mat Stack 6 dies again on this card where I stamped the heart frames on one of the mats that I cut from kraft cardstock and then layered a sentiment from Sending my Love in True Black ink on top.
This is a wonderfully simple, yet elegant layout and I am loving the shape of the new Mat Stack 6 dies!
It's hard to see in my photo, but the red mat and the kraft on the bottom part of the card are impressed with the Giga Guide Lines 1 impression plate and then edges are inked a bit with Classic Kraft ink.
Finally, a sweet little card using Framed Out #11. I stitched 2 of the large stamped and die cut hearts to the kraft card base and then added the smaller heart stamped with the smaller heart frame and the sentiment that I dressed up with a glitter heart brad.
The little flag piece is from Countdown Details and is cut out with the new Countdown Details die - no more hand cutting out the little flags from that set! The Countdown Details die includes both flag shapes.
Today Nichole is sharing more about Framed Out #11 and Sending My Love. Ashley and Nichole are sharing about the new Man & Wife dies and the Just a Kiss Set. Maile, Melissa, Lizzie, and Lexi will also have peeks to share on their blogs with their new sets.
Thanks so much for stopping by today - I will be back tomorrow with more to share!
