designing with papertrey

I am so excited to continue being a stamp designer for Papertrey Ink this year!

Being able to have the Pinefeather Press line at Papertrey Ink is truly a dream come true. I love seeing all of the creations pop up all over the internet and in magazines that have been made with products that I designed. I especially love when they are stamped and used in ways that I hadn't thought on my own. The Papertrey Ink design team consistently blows me away with what they come up with!

When I am designing new stamps, I am making things that I personally want to stamp with - I figure if I want to stamp with it, you might want to as well! I am excited to share my new designs for this year! I think the Pinefeather Press line has a fresh and graphic look this year, but still with the simple rustic look that is my signature style.

I updated my logo a bit for this year - It's been 5 years since Pinefeather Press debuted in 2008.

The stamp designers put together some freebie graphics for you to create with. Get all of the details to share your project created with one of the freebies and enter the contest over at Nichole's blog!

The graphic I created is sized a little bigger this year. You might enjoy that it is sized at just under the popular 3" x 4" size and so is a perfect insert for anyone doing Project Life.

You can download the sheet of freebie graphic here:

I also created a sheet that includes just multiples of my graphic - 2 are the original size and 3 are sized smaller. You can download that freebie sheet here:

I created a card project with my freebie graphic...

I printed the graphic out on kraft cardstock for my card (I finally have a printer that can handle heavier cardstock like Papertrey's!) I really like the muted look that was the result!

A bit of washi tape and a glittered star finished off my card and it's perfect to give to anyone celebrating their special day.

Be sure to stop by Nichole's blog and link up to all of the other stamp designers to see their freebie graphics and projects that they created with them. Some of the Papertrey design team created projects to share too!

There will be more celebrating as the Papertrey Ink 6th anniversary festivities continue. See you back here soon!
