Welcome to another day of the festivities for Papertrey Ink's 6th anniversary! Today is the introduction of the Year of Flowers die collection. It will be available to purchase on release day, February 15th, at 10PM ET.
The card I am sharing today feature the Year of Flowers: Lily of the Valley flower that is cut with the coordinating die cut. Lilly of the Valley is a favorite flower of mine. My Grandma has always had it growing on one side of her house and today I have lily of the valley growing on one side of my house today. I have always loved the bell shaped flowers and I love the memories of my Grandma's house that it brings.
I stamped the flower image onto the die cut with a waterproof black ink and then added some texture to the paper with the Aida impression plate. I watercolored the flower with a water brush and reinkers in Fine Linen, Simply Chartreuse, and Ripe Avocado.
Visit Nichole's blog to link up to the rest of the design team members that have projects to share using the new Year of Flowers die collection. You can get the details for the contests that are going on right now too!
See you again soon! Thank you for stopping by today!
