Pti6th2013

Welcome to day two of the countdown and the continued festivities for the Papertrey Ink 6th anniversary celebration! Today I have more cards to share with you that use my new set Wonderful Words: Hello.

All of the new stamp sets and products that I am sharing today will be available to purchase on February 15th, 10PM ET, at Papertrey Ink.

For this first card, I was cutting out the "hello" from different colors of felt and as I lined them up on the floor, I knew I wanted to do a card with multiple "hello"s down the card front. I stamped the "hello" at the top and bottom and added 2 of my felt "hello" cuts in the center.

This card also uses one of the color challenges over at Nichole's blog today with Color Inspiration #1: Lemon Tart, Spring Moss, Aqua Mist, Sweet Blush, and Hibiscus Burst.

For my next card, I wanted to use the negative part of the die cut in some way and turned to the new burlap craft roll to layer behind it. It really adds a cool rustic texture to the word.

I stamped the flower from the Frilly Flowers set next to the "hello" in Fresh Snow. I punched some circles from the Limeade Ice bitty dot patterned paper for the flower center and to scatter on the card front to finish off the card.

Finally, I have this sweet and heartfelt card to share. I stamped a Wonderful Words: Hello die cut from white cardstock with the "hello" image in Ocean Tides ink. Instead of attaching the die cut to the card front, I cut it again from the Aqua Mist cardstock and embedded the "hello" into it.

I did the same with the Framed Out #11 die cut that cut from some different patterned papers.

Today, Nichole will be sharing more about my new Wonderful Words: Hello set as well as the new Irresistibly Ikat and Headline Alphabet & Numbers sets. Ashley will be sharing more about the Irresistibly Ikat set on her blog and Cristine will be sharing the Headline Alphabet & Numbers on her blog today. Stop by DawnMaileLizzie, and Melissa's blogs too see what they are sharing with their new sets today!

Make sure to check out the contests that are going on right now over at Nichole's blog too!

See you again tomorrow & thank you so much for stopping by today.
