I call myself very lucky to be a part of the Papertrey Ink design team - and I have been one lucky girl for the past 6 years - that's right, since the very beginning!
I am so excited to celebrate Papertrey Ink's 6th anniversary this month with all of you. Today the design team is sharing 6 favorite projects. How on earth do I go through the past 6 years of creations and pick only 6? I could barely do that from this last year alone.
Here are the ones that I picked to share in no particular order...
This card is from one of my very first newsletter posts with Papertrey. I used the Beautiful Blooms set and stamped the flowers with Twinkling H2O's. The sentiment - one of my very favorites, ever - is from the Beautiful Blessings set. I still have this card and I think that it's one I will hold onto for a very long time...
I know I have shared this scrapbook page before as a favorite, but the combination of photos and the Garden Variety stamp set came together just perfectly. The photo is one of my favorites of my daughter, Hana. She grumbled about having her picture taken that day (she usually does grumble), but the results? So worth it.
Although the theme of this set of cards is somber, it is truly one of my very favorite card designs that I have done. Sometimes it is all about the ink and paper and how it comes together. From the background to the little bird in the tree - every part, every stamp impression created the image that is the focal point of the card. I have restamped this design several times and that is not something that I commonly do with other card designs. Through the Trees is the set I used for this card. It is such a beautiful set to send a comforting message to a loved one experiencing a loss.
I really love how I have been able to capture my family's memories and moments with scrapbooking both pages and mini books. This Autumn Hike Mini Scrapbook is one from a trip that Chad and I took to MN's North Shore for the fall colors. We shot some great photos on a hike through Judge C. Magney State Park and I put the mini scrapbook together with the Journaling Circle and Leaf Prints stamp set and the coordinating mini envelope book kit. I keep my mini books in a basket and my family loves to look through them again and again.
This set of tags is so "me". Kraft paper, white ink, snowflakes... what more could I possibly want? The snowflakes are from Peace, Be Still - one of my very favorite sets that I have designed. Background Basics: Woodgrain was absolutely perfect for the rustic, woodsy, wintery look I was going for. Looking at this project inspires me to go pull out my supplies to make projects with this same look & feel!
And finally, I HAD to include one of my personalized tags that I am always creating for every season! This Halloween tag made with the Boxy Banners dies as a base and Mr. Bones was so much fun to make and everyone who received them said that this tag was one of their very favorites. It lets me send that little bit of extra love when I create personalized projects like this.
