birthday style and more

Welcome to day 5 of the Papertrey Ink March release countdown. Today is another group post day and today we are all sharing projects created with Maile's new Birthday Style set, the new To You From Me set, and the new Get a Handle On It dies. My projects today also include my new sets Wonderful Words: Birthday and Hello Foxy.

All of the new stamp sets and projects that I am sharing today will be available to purchase on March 15th, 10PM ET, at Papertrey Ink.

Here's my fun birthday ensemble that includes a card, gift box, and tag (and yes, right after I took these pictures I ate that yummy cupcake.)

I really love how this card turned out. It has a cool letterpress looking style to it. I stamped the background with the "birthday" from Wonderful Words: Birthday in Fine Linen on the Rustic Cream cardstock.

Over the top of the stamped background, I stamped the balloons from the Birthday Style set and sentiment from the Stylish Sentiments: Birthday set.

How fun is this little box to deliver a birthday cupcake in? Did you ever make little boxes from greeting cards when you were younger? I remember learning how to make these at Girl Scout camp! The box made from a piece of 12x12 cardstock that I had on hand turned out to be perfect for adding the handles to that are made with the Get a Handle On It die cut from kraft cardstock.

For instructions on how to make an origami greeting card box, simply do an internet search. So many tutorials pop up with great pictures and instructions on putting the box together.

The tag uses some of the same elements as the card. I stamped the background again with the "birthday" from Wonderful Words: Birthday and then stamped the balloon from Birthday style and then sentiment that is also from Stylish Sentiments: Birthday over it. I added the to & from part using elements from the new To You From Me set.

Next is one last Foxy card to share. Foxy is again sending happy birthday wishes with some balloons from Birthday Style and some presents from Background Basics: Birthday fun.

Foxy is paper pieces with some Melon Berry bitty dot patterned paper and his nose is a rhinestone that I colored black with a Copic marker.
