quick card set - part 2

IMG_1528

Last year I shared a project that I was working on where I was putting together a large quantity of cards for a friend of mine. Whenever I am mass producing cards, I am looking for ways to make things quick and easy. This time my project is to create cards to thank friends and family for helping us with our move to our new home. I did a little browsing and found these cute pre-made house cards at Target.

I decided to punch a circle into the front of the card so that I could add my stamped image in the opening. Anytime I want things to move along quickly, I like to utilize punches.

I used the house image from the Love Lives Here set stamped in Ocean Tides, Pure Poppy, and Smokey Shadow. The sentiment is from Tag-Its #6 and the circle border is from Take Note. I used a sheet and stamped all of the images out on it.

I punched out all of the images with the same circle punch that I punched the openings in the fronts of the cards. I stamped the house images onto the envelopes that came with the cards.

To attach the punched images perfectly on the cards I placed them right through the coordinating opening on the card front.

I love the stamped image peeking through the window :)

And nowI have a great one-of-a-kind set of cards to send out to thank family and friends that came together quickly and easily with a pre-made card set.
