more teacher tickets and antique alphabet
June 11, 2013
Welcome to day 2 of the Papertrey Ink June release countdown! Today I have some scrapbook layouts to share that use my new Teacher Tickets and Antique Alphabet sets.
All of the new stamp sets and products that I am sharing today will be available to purchase on June 15th, 10PM ET, at Papertrey Ink.
One of the biggest ideas in my head when designing the Teacher Tickets set, it using it for my girls school scrapbooks. I am sharing pages today from their first day of school this past fall.
Here's Tacy's page. I kept the layouts for each page the same and that enabled me to get both layouts done. This color combination is definitely out of the box for me: kraft, white, Ocean Tides, Harvest Gold, and Scarlet Jewel. I didn't want to go too bright because of the girls wearing purple in the picture and I really think this color combination worked.
On the each of the girls pictures, I used the tickets created with Teacher Tickets and the Just the Ticket border die to personalize each picture. I love how well the Antique Alphabet coordinates with the Teacher Tickets set and I used that to stamp the name ticket.
Here's Hana's page. I included a journaling box on each page giving the basic details of the year: the school they went to, their teacher (in Tacy's case her main case manager), and their main school year activity. The journaling cards are 3 x 4 (perfect for Project Life) and stamped with words, the handwriting lines and a few other elements from Teacher Tickets and then I filled in the blanks for each of them with Antique Alphabet.
Here's a closer look at Hana's tickets on her main picture. I am CRAZY about the little numbers in the circles.
I added the school years with Antique Alphabet under a little line up of apples that are from the new Back to School set and coordinating apple die.
I am ready to put these into their albums - and maybe I will get ahead of the game and finish the section for this past school year. I am sorely behind on the rest, but Teacher Tickets and Antique Alphabet might just help me get moving on getting them complete!
There is more to see today. Nichole has lots to share over on her blog - including Teacher Tickets and Antique Alphabet. Danielle will be sharing the new Boutique Borders: Thanks set. Melissa, Dawn, and Maile all have new sets this month and so stop by their blogs to see more.
Thank you so much for stopping by today - I will be back tomorrow with more to share!
